| Cliff swallows are extremely social songbirds that form large nesting colonies reaching over 2,000 nests. They build pumpkin-shaped nests made of mud with small entrance holes, one above the other, under bridges or along the cliffs of the mountains.The breeding range includes vast areas throughout Canada and the United States of America while wintering takes place in the South American regions, such as southern Brazil, Uruguay and parts of Argentina.Dimensions: 13 - 15 cm.
